Season Starts Now for Amorim, Reds

Manchester United face a tough test in London tomorrow. After a narrow 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on opening day, United are under pressure to deliver against Fulham at Craven Cottage. 

A loss would leave The Reds without a point after two matches, a nightmare scenario for a club with European ambitions.

Manager Ruben Amorim has overhauled the squad with over £200 million spent on attacking reinforcements like Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Šeško.

Despite these signings, United lacked clinical edge against Arsenal, and a costly goalkeeping error by Altay Bayindir sealed the loss. 

The gaping holes in midfield are yet to be addressed also, with no concrete links with anyone since the collapse of Carlos Baleba negotiations with Brighton.

Fulham, on the other hand, secured an extremely late 1-1 draw against Brighton, showing resilience, confidence and that Marco Silva's side are as gritty as ever.

Historically, United have dominated at Craven Cottage, winning their last eight visits. A ninth consecutive victory would not only boost morale but also set the tone for the season. 

As seemingly always, the pressure is mounting. A poor result risks deepening frustration among fans and players alike, potentially destabilising the squad.

That being said, general spirits around the team have appeared uplifted of late with the group being described as a 'family'.

Tomorrow is more than just another fixture, it's a statement of intent. A Manchester United win would inject confidence and hopefully create momentum for the long season ahead.
